Mrs. Lisa Drake is a certified nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a lifelong resident of Forrest City and a product of the local school system. She is married with 3 grown children. Mrs. Drake joined East Arkansas Children’s Clinic on January 10, 2010, immediately after completing her Master’s Degree in Nursing Practice at the University of Arkansas’ Center for Medical Sciences.
Mrs. Drake has served on the Forrest City Medical Center’s Women Committee promoting health and wellness for the ladies in our community for 5 years. In 2008 she was chosen by her peers as the Arkansas School Nurse of the Year. She also served as President of the Arkansas School Nurses Association and served on the National Board of Directors for the National School Nurses Association in Washington DC. This year she was awarded the distinction of being named as one of Arkansas Best Health Care Professionals by AY Magazine.
Mrs. Drake was active on the Local Emergency Planning committee for St. Francis County, and was vital in establishing the 911 Emergency County wide plan. She was active in Boy Scouts of America serving on the board of Directors for the Delta Region at the state level. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and traveling.
